The Office Behind The Forest

This picture is the front office of TKM Company,unfamiliar office for industrial wood.Placed in front mangrove forest behinds the Barito River.
Like usually it looked,this "small office" managing all the log's archieved on manually,not like the others company which have luxurius office and special security.In this office,workes are absolutelly free for going in,for asking the jobs or asking his total salary for one contrack.
Next day...I will post some utility in this Company;-)

My Best Friends...The SawDoktor Asistance

TKM has two mechanician who take the responsibilty of scissors steel.The first name is Mas Eko,who have good experience on steel scissors and his asistence name is Solikhin (best friends of my) who help the sondoctor job.
This job is specially needed and not every person hate the ability.From the past until now,just a fiew person take this the ability for the job,cause the complicated of scissors steel handling.
TKM have pay a high sallary and intensive for this persons.It mean,they have higher sallary and intensive than others person.And for TKM,if the sondoctor isn't active works..the production will stuck because scissoring the wood was absolutely can't runs.

Me And The Big Log's

This is me on the picture,standing beside Bengkirai Wood.

It's very quite interesting,cause this is the first time I found this wood so big in this company since last year.

Diametres of this wood is 1,30 metres and being the biggest in TKM.
On ancient time,maybe this wood were small.But nowdays,it's hard to find a wood seems like this,and afcourse...expensive.

And The Green Forest Goes Burned..!!

This picture I took last week in the evening,when there is news from the workers that close from TKM area has burned!.
During this hot season,many things happen for most couple years,and mostly is forest burning.This nature activity caused by the hot weather and the mangrove forest condition which not get enaugh water to spread out under the land.
Ofcours this accident maked us to the dangerous situation,and we have a hard job to handlle this messt.Fortunately..this accident nature just few hours happened,if not...it will spread out to the largers area and become dangerous for the mangrove forest habitat inside it.

The Log Decks Activity

This picture shown about Log deck's activity on Bansaw TKM Company.
The workers was cleaning the wood ashes,after he works scissoring the woods.
This activity runs 6 day and off in Friday.

In Indonesia...workers works for 8-12 hours...,so many country like Indonesia workers:)

DAILY RAINING ALL DAY

It's had been seen cloudy outthere,and every day almost raining.Start on September,it's daily raining every day.It's very strange to explain when the sun shines in the morning but it's become raining on evening.The wheather changes so quickly,and almost every year in South Barito River floated.This condition makes wood company being the suspect for this messt.But the biggest contributor came from coal mine company industry that every year more increase but wood company just a small industri in Kalimantan.

If every one realize...wood company just for suspect for this case,the one has a responsbilitiy is coal mine company that make this conditions worse ever.Hopes...that everyone really give a good respect for middle end wood industry company like this.

There are a small part of TKM Staff's and others hundreds of workers came from other Island likes Java,Kalimantan (Borneo) which are traditional purpose people and the others are came from Sulawesi.

HARD DAY

This month is a hard day for me living on TKM.Doing phass means more mentally job to do.In this special month called "RAMADHAN",every moeslim people have to do it for one full moon,like not eat and drink for more or less 15 hours.But the real meaning aren't those,increasing the religius and trustess is the purpose of all.Try to have the same feel like the poor people haved (like hungry..,etc).This way are one of some way in Islam to try and understand that every person cant't lived without each other.

The Day After Last Day I Tried

This evenening TKM have schedule to make some thaksfullness to the God for the successfully increasing the profit in this year.This ceremony used to call "selamatan" and usually every year.
This year TKM has producing more than 7 to 10 thousand meter kubic of Masupang/Bengkirai delivered outside of Indonesia.From this night after "selamatan",all the workers hoped for next year this company can producting more wood for export so they can stand even longer.For me..TKM not just a company,but liked my second home.

This anually "selamatan" came from this year with successfull,great job guys!!

TKM - The Only One Legal Traditional Green Wood Industry In Centre Borneo Province

TKM (Tingang Karya Mandiri) is the only one legal traditional industry which have hundreds of workers,most of them came from Jawa island with adopted contrack sallary system for 4 until 8 month.The other workers were came from ordinary people of Tanjung Jawa inside TKM area.One of unique managing system used on TKM is the way for using traditional system.Start from the office,staff's,accounting and others without using any modern things,even computer!.The strangest things is...I was inside of them.

There one wories come out from my mind that " Can I survive from this hard working life..???".May be I will try to work for 1 years about to think that I was wrong.
